If things have felt crunchy AF these last few weeks and months (years lol?!) you are not alone. I don’t think I know anyone right now who isn’t just deeply” in it” in all the ways. But the good news is that there is a lot shifting in the cosmos including this spicy Aries full moon and your inner fire is about to return!

I had a teacher share with me once that patterns and wounds can’t be released unless they are activated. Oftentimes a lesson comes around one last time, like the universe asking if you are sure. And what’s interesting about the current astrology is it is activating some key points:

  1. Our deepest core wounds are absolutely being activated. The original shit. The things that have probably been hurting us potentially our whole lives

  2. If we are willing to stay with the pain and discomfort, there is a true opportunity here to heal these wounds and release the patterns they caused. 

  3. If we can learn how to sit with these wounds-instead of distracting, instead of running away, instead of fighting them, the real opportunity here is to have tea with them. 

What would it look like to feel the hurt you think is going to kill you if you face it? And what if instead of fighting the hurt and the shadow you stay with it. Make it tea, ask it what it has to teach you. I’ve struggled with a nightmare disorder my whole life. I dream every single night and about 95% of the time it’s nightmares. She postulated that when we don’t listen- the message gets louder. And I feel like that's related to our shadow and wounding as well. If we stuff it down, shun it, shun ourselves, it actually gains more power. Does more damage. 

This is tender territory. It’s hard, and scary. But I hope you know that when you burn this candle you are not alone. Your heart is holding hands with every other person's heart on the planet that is doing this work. You are not alone. You are being held by your whole lineage past and future. You have got this. I have faith in all of us to do this work.

There really seems to be a portal opening up right now. We are heading into the last three months of 2026. That is 90 days, which is a lot of time. What do you want that time to look like? Maybe it’s finding fire for a project your heart has been calling you to do. Maybe it’s caring for your body like the magical nature creature that it is. Maybe its slowing the fuck down and watching the leaves turn. Maybe it’s more time with your friends. Whatever it looks like for you - this energy is letting us head into these next three months with our eyes and hearts wide open.

What are Moon Candles?

  • The containers are all thrown individually by hand, by me on the new moon.

  • Candles are trimmed, burnished, and bisque fired under the waxing crescent and first quarter moon.

  • Then glazing and firing takes place under the waxing gibbous moon.

  • On the full moon I pour the candles with 100% soy wax and a color and scent pertaining to that particular full moon.

  • Candles are scented with essential oils. It is a mellower scent allowing you to burn the candle for longer.

  • The candles are then set out physically under the light of the full moon to cure and absorb the magical energy. They are also present for all of my own full moon rituals and blessings.

Caring For Your Candle:

Let the candle melt all the way across the top before blowing out. This is especially important the first time you light your candle. This can take many hours as soy/coconut wax has a very long burn time.

Burning until the melted wax has reached the edge of the container will ensure it burns cleanly out of the container for the remainder of the life of the candle.

After your candle has completely burned, fill the empty candle vessel with boiling water to release any residual wax. Once cooled, wipe clean.

The vessel is food safe, microwave safe, & dishwasher safe. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email with any questions!

Wooden wicks are special and beautiful, but they do not behave like cotton wicks. They require a bit more care for optimal performance.

Keep the wick cut short (about 1/8”) and close to the candle wax, which helps it to burn. Before each new burn, gently use your fingers or a wick cutter to remove the extra carbon from the wick.

Make sure the wick is lit all the way across. This might take extra seconds of holding the flame to the wick. Torch lighters work well for this.
