REST IS SACRED ~ Sagittarius/Cancer

Affirmation hand carved on bottom of candle:
REST IS SACRED
Like many of us I struggle deeply with slowing down and taking time to rest. But several months ago a dear friend said something to me in passing that I have not been able to forget that rings through my brain all the time now. Which is,
“Resting is also moving energy”
HOLY SHIT
And that reframe changed everything for me. I always saw resting as a pause. Which isn’t bad (and obviously is its own powerful action), but I don’t think it gives the impact to the power of rest that it deserves. There is a reason rest has been vilified in our culture. It’s because it’s where so much of the magic happens.
There is power in slowness
There is power in pausing
There is power in RESTING
Reclaim your rest
Reclaim prioritizing your body - it’s the only one you get!
Reclaim your power, and your timeline and how you get to choose to move through the world.
Rest is Sacred
There is so much juice and magic and wonder there. And we have been trained away from it, but I trust in our ability to take it back. To approach life and the world from a more nourished place.
Thrown under the NEW Moon in SAGITTARIUS
Poured under the FULL Moon in CANCER
Essential oil: END OF YEAR INTUITIVE BLEND
After being wildly inspired by an essential oil course with Kasia from Larkspur Portland
I let my intuition guide me on what oils to blend and a whole lot of them wanted to get in on the fun. The main notes that come through are Lavender, Frankincense, Cedar, Mint and Sweet Orange.
I would describe it as fresh and sweet, but grounded with an earthy undertone and some top notes of mint!

This last month of the 2025 Snake year might feel crunchy, I hope this candle supports you in clearing out and shedding the last dregs of the snake year before we welcome in 2026 the year of the Fire Horse!
Stone: DALMATION JASPER
The main calling cards of Dalmation Jasper are playfulness, protection and grounding.
It raises one’s confidence and with that brings to the forefront the power and autonomy you have in your life to shape it in the way that calls to your heart.
It is also associated with devotion. Towards yourself, your loved ones, and your community.

Thank you so much for being here, it truly means the world to me to get to do what my soul calls me to do and share it with all of you!
~~~
I appreciate you being here more than you know. And I hope you know that each time you support a small business, and light your candle, that you are connecting to every other person who has ever lit a candle with hope in their heart. That resonance matters. You matter, we matter, thanks for being here!
I’ve been creating these candles since 2020. They came out of a deep desire to put something loving and positive out into the world, when things seem so dark. May the love of these candles fill the space you bring them into
Large is approx. 14 ounces with a burn time of approx. 55 hours
Bowl candle is approx. 2”x4” and is double wicked. The burn time is approx. 50 hours
All candles come with a candle card giving information on the moon cycles as well as this particular candles information
~~~Caring for your candle:
Let the candle melt all the way across the top before blowing out. This is especially important the first time you light your candle. This can take many hours as soy/coconut wax has a very long burn time.
Burning until the melted wax has reached the edge of the container will ensure it burns cleanly out of the container for the remainder of the life of the candle.
After your candle has completely burned, fill the empty candle vessel with boiling water to release any residual wax. Once cooled, wipe clean.
The vessel is food safe, microwave safe, & dishwasher safe. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email with any questions!
~~~
Wooden wicks are special and beautiful, but they do not behave like cotton wicks. They require a bit more care for optimal performance.
Keep the wick cut short (about 1/8”) and close to the candle wax, which helps it to burn. Before each new burn, gently use your fingers or a wick cutter to remove the extra carbon from the wick.
Make sure the wick is lit all the way across. This might take extra seconds of holding the flame to the wick. Torch lighters work well for this.
